Her passion: storytelling!

Writing fiction after her school was over, soon became her favorite thing to do. For Cristina, creating stories, it was -and it still is- the most beloved distraction she had in order to forget the reality that made her (and everyone else) feel so anxious and lost.

Although Cristina started writing from a young age, it wasn't until later that she started doing it professionally. It happened a few weeks before her graduation from the acting program she was enrolled at, when she was invited to join the writing department of their theater company. Her credits as a co-writer there include: "No Nos Llames, Nosotros Te Llamamos", "Al Otro Lado Del Parque", and "Corazón De Zapatero". In 2014, she made her debut as an independent writer with her play "Los Romanov", based on the Russian royals. When the production closed its sold-out run, it was announced it had been selected to be part of the National Theater Festival.

Even when Cristina moved to the States in 2015 and was completely focused on finishing her acting conservatory, she made herself write during her limited free time. Which came to fruition in 2021 when she published her first novel "INTERNUM". The romantic thriller she started writing back when she was 14. The book can be found now on Amazon in its different formats: paperback/hardcover/ebook.

She is currently working on two projects: the sequel to INTERNUM (written in Spanish) and the first volume of her new book series (which will be written in English). Cristina's dream has always been writing in her native Spanish AND in English. She already fulfilled the first part and will continue to do so, but now she is ready to show the world what she has in store for the English speaking community.

INTERNUM (English Synopsis)

The routine that Ethan Darren has complained about so much is now affected by his insomnia and his sleepwalking episodes, a condition that he does not understand and that he also refuses to share with his family. Little did he know that those sleepless nights would only be the beginning of his metamorphosis. Tired of his life in the suburbs, Ethan meets Sharon Peters, the new girl in town with whom he soon feels an inexplicable connection. But the apparent reality that surrounds them will be shaken by the arrival of AZ, the same serial killer the police are so eager to find. His crimes are part of a puzzle that does not seem to make sense, but some of its pieces have managed to form a bizarre pattern among his victims. All of them were adopted. All of them were within the same age range. All of their faces were mutilated. And all of them, without any exception, were killed in alphabetical order.
